Riko Ashby, beloved companion, passed away May 10, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 5, 2002.
Riko was adopted by his parents from the Anderson Animal Shelter.
One of Riko's greatest joys was "Going Bye-bye". He was a well traveled dog and enjoyed riding in the truck. Riko loved to hang his head out of the window. He also enjoyed eating ice cream.
Some of his favorite foods included McDonalds' french fries and just about anything else you would share with him, with the exception of pineapple.
He was not a fan of going to the groomers for a bath or going to the vet.
His favorite place to sleep was at the foot of Mamaw's and Papaw's bed.
Riko is survived by his parents, Mike "Papaw", Debi "Mamaw", and Lorra "Mom" Ashby; and his animal siblings, Reba, Little Bit, Chloe, Alize, and Sophie.
Riko was an excellent protector and took great care of his family and siblings. He was a true member of the family, with a one a kind personality, who can never be replaced. Riko will be truly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
